Effective 18 September 2026
The Bashir Zaidi Aseer app is published by the poet's family through STZ Developer to preserve and share his poetry. It is built to work without collecting personal information about you.
The app has no user accounts, no sign-in, no advertising and no analytics. It does not collect, store or share your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information. There is nothing to sell and nothing to profile.
Your reading position, your favourite pages and your day/night preference are stored only on your own device. They never leave it, and deleting the app deletes them.
The app uses Firebase Cloud Messaging, a Google service, to deliver occasional announcements from the poet's family. For this to work, Firebase issues your device an anonymous push token. That token identifies the device for message delivery only; it cannot be used to identify you personally. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings. Google's handling of this service is described in the Firebase privacy documentation.
The Media and Announcements sections load their content from a published read-only document over an encrypted connection. That request sends no personal information — it simply downloads the latest content, like opening a public web page. All of the poetry itself is bundled with the app and readable fully offline.
The app is suitable for all ages (rated 4+) and, consistent with this policy, collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
Questions about this policy or the app are welcome at contact@stzdeveloper.com.
